Photography isn’t always this fun. Bright colors, sharp compositions, such that many photos almost seem like graphic designs. German photographer Matthias Heiderich sure knows how to play with both the frame and the cityscape. A great way of seeing a city you absolutely love but aren’t used to see this bright and sunny in terms of color. As a beautiful contrast to his color series, Heiderich occasionally also focuses on the darker, more mysterious sites and times of day in the city by making great use of the early morning fog. In between is the Favourite Places 1-series with dreamy pictures of early-morning landscapes wrapped in both fog and sunlight.
